Netscape Messenger
How do I setup Messenger to retrieve mail from my POP account?
1. Open Netscape Messenger and Select Edit/Prefrences as shown from the menu bar. |
2. Select the Identity Tab under Mail & Newsgroups. |
3. In the Your Name field enter the name you wish to show up in the from field, next enter your email address, this will be the address that gets replied to.

4. Next select the Mail Servers Tab under Mail &
Newsgroups.

5. Next Select Add, from incoming mail servers. | |
6. The Server name you will retrieve mail from is your domain
name. The User name is going to be what you specified as the email
address, i.e. if you set up the email account user@yourdomain.com,
the username would be user. Only check remember password if you are
the only person using the machine you set the account up on. Click
OK

7. We do not allow SMTP Relaying(outgoing mail) due to SPAM problems. You will need to use you ISP's mail server to send outgoing mail. You will need to obtain that information from your ISP if you do not already have it. |

4. Select the POP tab and make sure the box that says Leave messages on server is NOT CHECKED. |
